Our small, yet mighty, sales associate Ann Marie came to Perry’s two years ago after retiring from her 27 year tenure in advertising. Alan was always one of her favorite clients and she knew she would love working for him as much as she loved working with him.
Ann Marie says that one of her favorite things about working at Perry’s is learning the history of her customers’ heirloom and antique pieces that they are resetting, refreshing and repurposing. “People are attached and emotional about family jewelry. Seeing their reactions when I return their repaired or reset family jewelry is extremely gratifying.”
She says that helping her customers select items that represent their feelings and bonds to their loved ones is also a very meaningful part of her job.
Ann Marie attended Vassar, Elizabeth Seton and City College of New York with a concentration in Marketing/Advertising & Communications. She was in global banking for JP Morgan Chase for several years prior to moving to Southport, NC
She is typically available at Perry’s Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and by appointment. If you can’t find her here, she’s probably cooking, traveling or doing something related to dogs or horses.

Although Ann Marie is part time at the store, she is full time in terms of maintenance for her customers. She is always in contact with the store and her clients (via phone and email) which shows true dedication.
